What Do We Look For?

READMontana hires qualified instructors interested in working one-on-one with children with dyslexia and related language-based reading/writing difficulties. This is part-time (6-15 hrs/week), flexible, and rewarding work.

We’re looking for people who:

• Have a bachelor's degree - a focus in education is a plus, but not a requirement
• Have experience working with young people
• May have some professional educational experience. Experience with special education and/or Orton Gillingham instruction is a plus but not required.
• Enjoy working with children
• Have an interest in supporting children with dyslexia/reading difficulties

Ideally, they will also:

• Have personal experience with and/or knowledge of dyslexia, ADHD, and/or dysgraphia
• Be team players
• Have an interest in long-term employment
• Be enthusiastic about continued professional development 
• Be comfortable communicating with families

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 16 per week
